Creative Summit is a fictitious international conference event where great minds meet to discuss cutting-edge research in creativity, design, and cognition. My team and I were tasked with branding the 17th annual meeting and producing key assets for the event. The six of us were given two weeks to complete the entire project, challenging us to work collaboratively under a tight deadline.
Once we established our brand, fonts, logo, color palette, and design elements, I tackled the production challenge of laying out the event booklet. Due to budgeting concerns, the booklet was limited to eight pages at 5.5X8.5 size, no bleeds or cuts, and only two printing colors, including the color black. I used folio lines to differentiate the days and dates of the meeting, and I used our teal spot color to show the meeting times. There was a great deal of content that needed to fit into this booklet, and it was a fun puzzle to make it all fit.
